CBS's The Big Bang Theory nudged up against the 20-million-viewer mark on Thursday night as it drew a total audience of 19.78 million and a 6.3 rating/19 share among the 18-49 demo. The numbers represented a new high for the comedy series. CBS also dominated the rest of the night. Two and a Half Men, which followed TBBT, attracted 14.34 million viewers, followed at 9:00 p.m. by Person of Interest with 15.56 million and Elementary at 10:00 p.m. with 11.33 million. Only ABC offered any significant competition. Its Grey's Anatomy collected 9.22 million viewers at 9:00 p.m., while Scandal at 10:00 p.m. posted a season high of 8.37 million viewers. NBC and Fox were out of the picture averaging 3.96 million and 2.66 million respectively for the night. Both were beaten by Spanish-language Univision with 4.07 million viewers.
