Ben Woolf, one of the stars of ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’, has died following a car accident in Los Angeles last week.
TMZ reports that the 34 year old actor died from complications while recovering from a head injury after he was sideswiped by a car in Hollywood on Thursday February 19th. An SUV apparently clipped the actor while he was attempting to cross the street. Since Woolf was jaywalking, the driver was not ticketed or arrested.

He had been heavily sedated upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and apparently suffered a stroke on Monday (February 23rd) that is believed to have caused his death. The results of an autopsy are still pending, however.
Just twenty four hours before, Woolf’s rep had told the New York Daily News that he had been upgraded to a “critical but stable condition” and was slowly on the mend.

His rep added a tribute as well, saying: “Ben was one-of-a-kind, and will never be forgotten. The time we all shared together will be remembered forever. We are still all in shock by the tragic news.” A memorial is currently being planned for next week in Santa Barbara.
