The Super Bowl halftime show has always been popular, but the all-star lineup that came our way in 2022 has demonstrated that it can also bring a completely new audience to a football game as well.

The 2022 show was headlined by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr.Dre, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, it was estimated that over 100 million viewers tuned in to watch it, and it infiltrated all areas of the sports market as there were even Vegas Odds available on hair colors to song choices.

Opinions may be split on the concept of the show as football fans will want it to cater to their interests, but the NFL has also seen that it has the potential to bring in a totally new fanbase to the game, so it won't be a surprise if we see future shows go in a similar direction to pull in as many viewers as possible.

One question also remains as plans are already being made for the 2023 Super Bowl which is due to be held in Arizona - How can they top what we saw this year?

Billboard have run an online vote to see what fans may be looking to see, and at this stage, the overwhelming majority are hoping that BTS will be named as the next act to headline the halftime show.

On the face of it this should be a smart move as BTS are a band with a genuine worldwide following so that could open up a ton of new markets for the league, they certainly know how to put on a show and it would also open up the possibility of some interesting guest appearances as a result.
