Naomi Campbell says she isn't a slave to designer labels and has been been known to wear bargain buys.
Naomi Campbell isn't a slave to designer labels.
While the supermodel has a wardrobe bursting with high end brands, she admits she sometimes wears outfits which cost her just $10 because comfort is key when it comes to her clothes.
She told Harper's Bazaar magazine: ''I'm in heels all day at work and I'm dressed up, so it's nice to be in something grounding while I can. I love most brands; I don't just go by the name. It can be $10. If I like it, I'm going to buy it. It depends if it's comfortable - comfort for me is very important.
''When I'm working I don't wear much jewellery, just a cross, a Lorraine Schwartz evil-eye bracelet, and a yellow sapphire on my left hand.''
However, the 43-year-old beauty has a long list of favourite designers and says it takes her no time to pick out the perfect look.
Naomi said: ''It doesn't take me long to get dressed - I'm quick. When I'm going to the TV studio, I just wear jeans from AG or Acne, Alaïa ballet flats, and a nice top. My favourite labels are Azzedine Alaïa, Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Marc Jacobs, and Zac Posen.''
The star also shed some light on her skincare regime, explaining she achieves her glowing complexion by only using unscented, natural products and applying a liberal amount of moisturiser.
She added: ''In the shower I only use baby soap. I don't like too many perfumed shower gels. I use Biofirm Lift cream, and I use eye cream.
''I moisturize my skin constantly, my whole body, and I use moisture serums for my face these days. I think all the make-up and heavy moisturizers just clog the pores.''
