Naomi Campbell thinks everyone should ''fast a least once a week.''
The 43-year-old model insists everyone should clear out their body on a regular basis and believes this can help them lead a longer life.
She explained: ''I think everyone should fast at least once a week. We eat so many different things; I think it's good to clear your intestine. I think it can prolong your life.''
Naomi cleanses before her catwalk shows and the star recently implemented a strict diet of liquid fruit and vegetables this summer before she walked the runway at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
However, she admits she does not create the drinks herself.
The catwalk beauty explained: ''No, I'm not going to do that. There are so many places that deliver now, though.''
Naomi - whose mother, Valerie Morris, battled breast cancer - eats and drinks in ''moderation'' and claims seeing loved ones suffer from cancer made her think about what she consumes.
She told heat magazine: ''I try to do everything in moderation. I don't drink alcohol and I stopped eating pork and chicken. When people in your family have had cancer you look more closely at what you put in your body.''
