Live Documentary DVD & VHS - July 1st Double Live CD - July 1st |
Muse Hullabaloo! Mushroom UK Live Documentary DVD & VHS - July 1st Double Live CD - July 1st The definition of Hullabaloo is a loud and confused noise, Loud yes but hey this is a live concert that they have been filming, now the confusing bit isn't too apparent, this all works out for the better because we cant be having a loud eccentric confused band when the word muse actually means to think long and hard about. So ok now we have a band that are deep and meaningful but never too far away from turning madly eccentric on us that make a lot of loud confusing noises? Any way enough of the bumf, Hullabaloo is the latest release by the Devonian trio Muse. Hullabaloo comes as a Double disk DVD or a shorter cut down version on VHS. Also available will be the soundtrack. All the footage on the DVD has been produced by Mark Hurry from Mission TV and directed by Matt Askem. All the menus on the DVD are 3D and animated. The first disk on the DVD consists of 90 minutes of live footage from 2 sell out gigs at Le Zenith in Paris last October, in total over 1200 people saw Muse at that particular venue. With the use of 28 different cameras (2 miniature cameras were used to film Mat's Guitar and Keyboard), the footage captured really is extreme! In all there is 19 tracks recorded on the DVD (not including backing tracks): Dead Star, Microcuts, Citizen Erased, Sunburn, Showbiz, Megalomania, Uno, Screenager, Feeling Good, Space Dementia, In Your World, Muscle Museum, Cave, New Born, Hyper Music, Agitated, Unintended, Plug In Baby and Bliss. Disk 2 gives you a look into Muse when they are on tour throughout 2001 with plenty of backstage footage; this includes some footage of a very cool photo shoot. The soundtrack is also a double album the first CD features B sides from 1999 up to the filming of Hullabaloo. Disk 2 has an assorted mix of Muses music off Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry and the 2 singles about to be released Dead Star & In You World (check out the music archive for the review).
