Miranda Lambert ''deserves a drink''.
The country singer - who recently announced her divorce from husband of four years, Blake Shelton - reportedly told fans she was desperate for a glass or two of her favourite tipple following the split.
Speaking on stage at a country music festival in Minnesota, she said: ''I wish I've been drinking all day. I deserve it: I just got divorced.''
Meanwhile, a source previously claimed Miranda is ''trying to get back to normal'' following the divorce.
They said: ''She's really trying to get back to normal, and I think being onstage is a part of that.''
And the pair are also believed to have insisted to pals they are ''just friends'' after they enjoyed a playful exchange on Twitter.
The insider said: ''This was not a deliberate plan to show some kind of unified front.
''There are no hard feelings. They want to move on as friends, and they are doing just that.''
The news of their split was confirmed last month by a joint statement, which read: ''This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.
''We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.''
