Miranda Kerr still keeps on good terms with Orlando Bloom so that their son can have a good relationship with them both.
Miranda Kerr is still ''really close'' to Orlando Bloom.
The 32-year-old Australian model split from her 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor husband in 2013 but they are still on good terms for the sake of their four-year-old son Flynn.
She said: ''Orlando and I are still really close so he'll [Flynn] be with his dad for a couple of days, then when I come back, he'll be with me so that his dad can travel. He's always either with his dad or with me.''
And the former couple even live just ''five minutes'' away from one another after moving to new properties in Los Angeles to make things even easier for their little boy, rather than returning to their native countries after the split.
She told HELLO! Fashion Monthly magazine: ''We decided as a family it was the right decision for Flynn, so Orlando and I both relocated and we live five minutes from each other. Everything revolves around my son and his welfare.''
Miranda and the 38-year-old British star are keen for Flynn to spend time with his extended family, and the youngster recently went with his dad while he shot 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' in Sydney so he could see his relatives.
She said: ''I try and get back [to Sydney] as much as possible to see family and friends - we always love our time there. Orlando just took him back because he's shooting 'Pirates', so he [Flynn] got to see my parents and play with his cousins.''
The full interview appears in the September issue of HELLO! Fashion Monthly, on sale from today (04.08.15).
