Noah Cyrus has confirmed that big sister Miley Cyrus has not tied the not with fiancé Liam Hemsworth yet.

Fans thought the couple had finally said ‘I Do’ last week, after dad Billy Ray Cyrus posted a photo of Miley wearing a white dress and gushed: “I’m so happy...you are happy”.

But speaking to Entertainment Tonight, 17-year-old Noah cleared up the rumours.

"She's not married," Noah said, adding that Miley was "probably just having fun or something,” by posing in a white dress. However Noah is happy to welcome Liam as her brother-in-law anytime, telling ET that she ‘loves’ the Aussie actor.

Miley’s manager also shot down any wedding rumours, telling US Weekly that Billy Ray’s pic was just part of “some great photos that happen to have been taken in a white dress.”

After Billy Ray’s photo of Miley caused headlines the ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer did attempt to clear up the confusion, by sharing the pic again on Twitter and writing: “Whoa! Don’t jump the gun. Been at work #StillTheKing Glad to see so many love @MileyCyrus the same as I do #happy.”

Miley and Liam began dating in 2010 after meeting on the set of movie The Last Song and became engaged in May 2012. However in September 2013 they called off their engagement.

Two years later, in late 2015, the couple reunited and Miley began wearing her diamond engagement ring again. For her 24th birthday back in November, Liam gifted Miley with another huge ring, this time filled with multi-coloured stones, more suited to the singer’s personal style.
