Michael Bay has proved he is one of the worst directors in Hollywood - while simultaneously being one of the highest grossing.
Michael Bay's horrific Transformers: Age of Extinction leads the way in this year's Razzies nominations, highlighting the worst movie acheivements of the past year. The action movie grossed over $1 billion at the box-office though received seven Razzie nods, including worst picture and worst director.
'Transformers: Age of Extinction' was just awful. Just awful.
Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas and The Legend of Hercules received six nominations each, while Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - another idea from the mind of Michael Bay - was also nominated for worst picture.

In the most ignominious individual categories, Cameron Diaz was nominated for worst actress in The Other Woman and Sex Tape as well as worst supporting actress in the critically derided Annie. Seth MacFarlane was also nominated for his comic western A Million Ways to Die in the West. He is in the running for worst actor alongside Kellan Lutz, Kirk Cameron, Nicolas Cage and Adam Sandler. The latter is no stranger to the Razzies and has been nominated 10 times - winning on three occasions.
MIchael Bay's other bright idea - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - also made the Razzies shortlist
However, it's not all bad for this year's nominees. For 2015, the Razzies have introduced a generally positive new category - the "redeemer" role, for stars who have tossed aside their critically mauled past projects and moved on to bigger and better things. Online voters must choose between Ben Affleck (now Batman), Jennifer Aniston (who turned in an excellent performance in Cake), Mike Myers (who's still not very good), Keanu Reeves (who appeared in one of the year's best thrillers in John Wick) and Kristen Stewart (who was excellent in Still, Alice).
Last year's Razzie for Worst Picture went to Movie 43, with Jaden Smith winning Worst Actor for After Earth and Tyler Perry winning Worst Actress for A Madea Christmas.
