Meghan Trainor has taken the British music charts by storm as her debut track 'All About That Bass' earns the U.K. No.1 spot by becoming one of the fastest-selling singles of the year so far, only coming behind Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne's 'Rather Be'.
Trainor's debut track reached the No.1 spot in the U.K.
The hit song climbed 32 places last week to reach the top spot by selling a combined total of nearly 144,000 copies, Clean Bandit's Rather Be ft Jess Glynne sold 163,000 in its first week of release back in January.

"It feels unreal! I still don't believe it! Especially on my first single. It's incredible!" Meghan told OfficialCharts.com. "My mom was the first one to tell me I was breaking records in the UK. I had to read it myself to believe it. It feels amazing."
Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj finish in the second position with 'Bang Bang,' which is closely followed by Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off.' Landing in the fourth spot with 'Changing' is Sigma ft Paloma Faith, and closing out this week's top five is Calvin Harris and John Newman's 'Blame.'
