Meghan Trainor's love life is almost non-existent now she has become a famous pop star and she thinks it's because guys are ''intimidated'' by her fame.
Meghan Trainor says less men hit on her now she's famous.
The 21-year-old star has become a household name since her song 'All About That Bass' topped the charts in several countries but her romantic life is almost non-existent.
Meghan believes guys are ''intimidated'' by her fame and don't have the courage to come over and talk to her.
When asked if she has received more male attention since shooting to fame, she quipped: ''No, less! They're intimidated and terrified and I look amazing nowadays so I don't know what's going on.''
Meghan has set her sights on dating a ''trust fund boy'' because she needs to go out with someone who is able to fund their own travel expenses if they want to go on tour with her.
She told the new issue of Britain's OK! magazine: ''My mom wants me to date a pop star as they'll understand what my life is like.
''I was thinking that maybe I should date a trust fund boy!
''The [record] label doesn't pay for my mom to travel with me. My mom's a hard worker; she's a jeweller, so she can't afford to come out here.
''I need a trust fund boy who doesn't need a job because he's rich and can stay by my side and who can be like, 'No baby, I'm here, we're good, I can afford this!''
