Rock veteran Meat Loaf always turned down offers of sex from groupies in his heyday - because he was too tired for romance after playing a gig.
The Bat Out Of Hell hitmaker was inundated with saucy proposals from female admirers when he headed out on tour, but he's adamant he always refused, even when determined girls followed him back to his hotel.
He tells U.K. TV show Loose Women, "I have this thing where if I have any energy after a show, other than to throw myself into bed, then I haven't done my show (properly). So I've been yelled at by groupies before who go, 'I want to go home with you' and I go, 'I haven't got time for you', and then they cursed me out!
"They said nasty things to me. That was back in the day, too. They would beg. They would stand at the door (and I would say) 'Go away, go away!'."
