Mayim Bialik's accident could have been much, much worse! The actress, known best for her star roles in TVs Blossom and The Big Bang Theory, wound up in hospital with "a severe injury to her left thumb" following a car crash on Hollywood Boulevard yesterday (August 15th), Lapd have said.
The story, first reported by Tmz, says that Mayim Bialik was driving through L.A. on Wednesday when a car carrying three Chilean tourists turned into her vehicle whilst driving on the famous Los Angeles strip. Since the story broke, People magazine have since spoken to L.A. police who have stated that whilst there was a lot of blood on the scene, each of the participants in the crash left without serious injury - other than the injury sustained on Mayim's left thumb. The police also told the celebrity gossip magazine that neither of the three tourist have been detained nor been cited for the crash, which is being deemed as being accidental.
The actress, who is up for an Emmy at next year's awards for her role as Amy Ferrafowler on The Big Bang Theory, took to Twitter (with the help of her husband), to let her fans know that she is ok. She posted, "(husband typing) In pain but will keep all my fingers. If u wanna see pre accident me watch The Soup tonight lol."
