Matthew Mcconaughey's ''alright, alright, alright'' catchphrase stops him feeling nervous.
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' actor - who famously opened his Golden Globes 2014 Best Actor acceptance speech with the phrase, and also referenced it when he picked up an Oscar the same year - finds it calming to refer back to his first ever piece of movie dialogue, from 1993's 'Dazed and Confused'.
He explained: ''They're the first words out of my mouth in my first film. Anytime I get up to do a speech or something and I'm nervous, if I start with 'Alright, alright, alright,' it's always much smoother sailing.''
Matthew, 45, and his wife Camila Alves have launched a clothing line to raise funds for their Just Keep Living foundation, and the garments feature many of the actor's favourite slogans.
And the 'Lincoln Lawyer' star thinks his daughter Vida, five, could help come up with some other phrases for the range in future because she's so good with words.
He told 'Extra': ''Our daughter sure comes up with some one-liners that could be on some T-shirts, she's a nickname giver, oh my gosh she's good.
''[She calls me] Tiny Dachshund, Woody Jackson, Marshmallow Sniffer.''
The couple, who also have sons Levi, six, and Livingston, two, try to teach their children to give back and think of others.
Camila, 33, explained: ''We do things like, they have to give their toys and save money to help, like around Christmastime I have them save up money, and we go to the dollar store and they get to choose a bunch of gifts that they can buy with their own money.''
The pair insisted they have no plans for any more children just yet.
Camila said: ''We're good for now.''
Matthew added: ''Three's for now.''
