Mark Hamill, who reprises his role as Luke Skywalker in J.J Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens, says he wouldn't be surprised if the entire script for the new movie leaks online before its fall 2015 release. Responding to rumors that the plot-line for the movie is already online, Hamill concluded that it was "the world we're living in".

"I just don't understand the motivation for people wanting to ruin it for people, but that's the world we're living in," Hamill reflected to IGN. "I'll be surprised if they don't leak the whole script between now and next year. But I hope not!"

A user going by the name of The Spoiler Man - who claims to work for Lucasfilm - shared the alleged plot of the movie on the 4Chan website.

We know that Hamill is reprising his classic character, but the actor is naturally silent on the details.

"You have to wait and see," Hamill told IGN. "They asked me not to talk about it and I agreed, but it's hard. People want to know!"

He did however note that The Force Awakens is, "in very, very good hands," saying, "I'm vicariously very proud of them even though I have no justification for being able to be proud!"

The first trailer for The Force Awakens hit the web earlier this month, showing, amongst other things, John Boyega as a stormtrooper. Hamill revealed that his children had showed him some of the reaction videos from fans to the first trailer.

"To see those people that thrilled, it was moving to me. I actually got a lump in my throat watching that," he said.
