Mariah Carey celebrated Christmas throughout the summer (10), making sure the studios where she recorded her new festive album were decked with trees and garlands.
The pop star insisted on bringing the festive season to Los Angeles and Aspen, Colorado early - so she'd feel spirited every time she hit the high notes on a holiday tune.
She says, "I decorated the studio wherever I was... and there would be a tree. If not somebody would get fired."
And she even decorated at home so she'd always be in the Christmas spirit.
