Marc Jacobs is launching the first-ever Tweet Shop.
The fashion designer will open his unique London store where customers pay for beauty treatments and perfume using social media instead of money.
Marc Jacobs Fragrances will offer it services to people who actively use the hashtag '#MJDaisyChain' on Twitter. In return tech-savvy users can gets their nails done and browse through Marc Jacobs' clothing and accessories.
Featuring a comfortable lounge and bar, the Tweet Shop will feature Daisy-themed artwork by Langley Fox, a Marc Jacobs nail bar, a live Daisy photo booth and DJ set by Hana Hanra.
Customers will be encouraged to take photos at the events, with the most creative snap winning a luxurious Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag.
The pop-up shop has been described as a ''gift'' to the designer's many fans and followers, and marks the first store in the UK beauty to use 'social currency' as the only means to make purchases.
However, this isn't a wholly original idea. Marc first championed the Tweet Shop idea in February earlier this year, when he opened at New York Fashion Week 2014.
The Tweet Shop will be available in Covent Garden, London from August 15 to 17.
