Madonna let her son style her for the 2014 Grammy Awards.

The 55-year-old singer walked the red carpet at the annual music awards on Sunday (26.01.14) with her eight-year-old son David - who she adopted in 2006 with former husband Guy Ritchie - in matching black Ralph Lauren suits, complete with wide-brimmed hats and bags of attitude.

Asked by E!'s Ryan Seacrest whether he chose the looks, David replied, 'Yes I did ... Yes she does [follow my lead].''

Mini-fashion expert David also admitted he was still waiting for Madonna to buy him a matching grill as the 'Hung Up' hitmaker flashed her own golden teeth bling for the cameras.

David moaned, ''She said she'd get me a grill for this birthday'', while Madonna explained, ''We haven't had time, you have to go to the dentist and get moulds.''

The pop superstar also admitted the only reason she wears her grill, which is traditionally associated with rappers and hip-hop culture, is to ''p**s everybody off''.

She joked: '''Yeah, I'm grillin'. It p***es everybody off when I wear my grill, so that's why I wear it. I wear it when I don't have to eat. Actually, I've learned to eat with my grill in.''

Madonna joined Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for a performance of 'Same Love' at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, serenading 34 gay, straight and interracial couples as they exchanged vows on stage during the ceremony, with Queen Latifah acting as officiant.
