The Publicist Who Has Guided Madonna's Career For More Than Three Decades Is To Retire.
Public relations heavyweight and former Warner Brothers Records executive Liz Rosenberg is stepping down more than 30 years after she first took the pop superstar under her wing.
Rosenberg, who spent more than 40 years at the label, first met Madonna in 1983 and went on to guide her career and become one of her closest confidantes. She has also represented stars including Michael Buble, Prince and Rod Stewart during her time as a publicist.
She tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I think two centuries is long enough, don't you?... I'm going to consult, advise and protect my peeps (people)... forever. I love them too much to do otherwise. On a serious note, these people are part of my family. I could never step away completely."
