Pop superstar Madonna is raiding her personal collection to present a special one-off exhibition of her most famous costumes in Los Angeles.

The singer will put pieces from her private archives on display for the first time at a branch of U.S. department store MACy's in L.A. on Thursday (25Apr13).

The exhibition, launched in conjunction with her Material Girl clothing line, will include Jean Paul Gaultier corsets from her 1990 Blonde Ambition tour, as well as a green skirt she wore in her 1984 Borderline video. The wedding dress she donned for a famous performance of Like a Virgin at the 1984 MTV Video Music Awards will also be on show.

However, fans will have to be quick if they want to catch the display - the pop-up exhibition will be open for just two hours on Thursday.

The singer tells Wwd.com, "The pop-up exhibit at MACy's perfectly exemplifies the inspiration and spirit of the Material Girl line and will give my fans a great opportunity to see the evolution of my style over the years."
