A Madonna fan who was arrested outside the singer's New York home in 2010 has been sentenced to three years probation.
Former firefighter Robert Linhart reportedly spray-painted love notes to the Material Girl on poster boards near her Big Apple apartment in September 2010, before returning for a second time days later.
He was detained by cops and accused of resisting arrest.
At a trial in November (12), Linhart was convicted of the charge and on Wednesday (02Jan12), a judge ordered him to serve three years probation and attend anger management classes.
