Louis Tomlinson's former partner wants to ''have a smooth pregnancy in peace.''

Briana Jungwirth, who is expecting her first child with the One Direction star early next year, has reportedly fled her home in Los Angeles to escape the scrutiny from the 23-year-old singer's fans.

A source close to the 23-year-old stylist, who is no longer dating the British heartthrob after enjoying a brief romance with him in May, said: ''Briana is staying away from home for the moment, she's a private girl - she doesn't even have any social media. Everyone's hoping she can have a smooth pregnancy in peace. That's the most important thing for everyone right now.''

Shortly after news of her pregnancy broke on Tuesday (14.07.15), Louis' fans began venting their despair on Twitter.

However, the duo are determined not to let the negative attention get to them.

The insider told PEOPLE.com: ''Briana and Louis could not be more excited. Louis is looking forward to finding a new house and setting up a home in Los Angeles near where Briana lives.''

Meanwhile, Louis's ex-girlfriend Eleanor Calder, whom he split from in March after more than three years of dating, is said to be relieved that he broke the news to her before it went public.

The source said: ''Eleanor knows and she's fine.''
