Lorde wants to write tracks for Rihanna.
The 16-year-old singer-songwriter says the 'Pour it Up' pop star would be ''fun'' to pen tracks for and she ''can't wait'' to begin collaborating with other artists, after being flooded with offers from famous musicians since storming the US charts with her debut single 'Royals'.
She told the Clash magazine: ''I haven't written for other artists yet but I definitely want to.
''Obviously lyrics are a huge part of my music, and they're so personal to me, so...It'll be such a challenge to step out of my body. I can't wait. Rihanna would be fun to write for because she's done everything. And I'd love to write for Ellie Goulding, actually.''
Lorde's opportunity to write for Rihanna could come sooner rather than later as she has already heard from Dr.Luke, who has previously produced tracks for the 'Umbrella' singer.
She explained: '' I've heard from lots of people - almost too many to mention But Dr. Luke was particularly impressive. It's like, 'you're Dr. Luke - you're like Rambo'. He's cool. I find what he does so fascinating.''
Lorde also likes the idea of writing a track for a girl band and would love to work with a Korean group.
She added: ''Girlbands are only cool if they're so ridiculous it's awesome, like the K-Pop girlbands with twelve people who rule the country. I'd write for a Korean girlband, definitely - some of their melodies are the best pop.''
Sheffield's very own all girl group Pretty Fierce are still on a high after the recent release of their debut single - 'Ready For Me'.
