Liv Tyler didn't tell her father she would be singing in her Givenchy advert.
The 'Lord Of The Rings' actress shows off her vocal talents in the commercial for Very Irresistible Givenchy Electric Rose with a sexy rendition of Inxs hit 'Need You Tonight' and while she was thrilled to be asked to do it, she decided to keep it secret from Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.
She told People: "My whole life, since I was a little girl, all I ever thought I would do is be a singer. My mom and stepdad, my dad [Steven Tyler] are all musicians and singers, and somehow I started modelling and acting instead.
"When I was asked, I literally jumped on my bed and screamed like a little girl. It was such an amazing opportunity to try it out.
"But I hadn't even told my dad about it."
While Liv doesn't talk to her family about her projects until they're near completion, the mother-of-one says her sisters, Chelsea and Mia, were very impressed when they saw the final ad.
She said: "I played them the video, they were so sweet, so excited, so supportive. Then it came out the next day, and I realised I could be excited about this now."
