After five days in rehab, the star is going strong, but now her parents might have to get involved.
After a long history with substance abuse and reckless behavior, Lindsay Lohan’s latest stint in rehab might be a turnaround for her. The troubled starlet entered the infamous Betty Ford center five days ago and treatment seems to be going well, according to sources at the clinic. At this point, her parents, who have been divorced since 2007, might be summoned for a family therapy session, RadarOnline.com reports. A source revealed for the website that: “Lindsay’s counselors want to get Dina and Michael to Betty Ford for a series of sessions in the next few weeks. They feel like having her work through her family issues could help Lindsay’s recovery.”
“Families are encouraged to participate in group therapy,” the insider added.
Meanwhile, Dina Lohan hasn’t reacted well to the idea, saying, "Where did you hear that from? News to me!”
“I have a warrant for child support against him… he owes thousands in back child support,”she continued.
Michael Lohan on the other hand has expressed eagerness to attend a therapy session if asked by the center. With such quarrels in her family life though, it’s not difficult to picture where things went wrong for Lindsay. Hopefully, after her latest rehab stint, the star can really get her life and career on track.
Lohan's time away from everything is doing her good, report insiders.
