The Mean Girls actress faced a race against time to log 125 hours of volunteer work before her court-ordered deadline of 28 May (15), after a judge rejected her previous efforts in London, which are said to have included meet-and-greet sessions with fans while starring in a West End play last year (14).

Lohan carried out the disputed hours by working at the Duffield Children's Center in Brooklyn, New York, and racked up the outstanding amount by helping out at a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth centre in the Big Apple over America's Memorial Day holiday weekend (23-25May15).

She reportedly managed to complete the huge feat by working nearly eight hours a day for several weeks without a break, and on Wednesday (27May15) - the eve of her probation deadline - Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White insisted he had no concerns about her most recent community service efforts.

Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Holley, will head to court on Thursday to present proof of her work to a judge.

If the judge signs off on the report, Lohan's probation period relating to her 2012 reckless driving case will be over.
