The new trailer for Lindsay Lohan's forthcoming starring role, The Canyons, has been revealed. What with Lohan constantly being the news for misdemeanors with the law, it's becoming somewhat of a surprise when we find ourselves discussing her career, so punctuated has it been by trips to jail and community service orders. However, she's returned to what some might cautiously say she does best, acting, in 'The Canyons.'
Producer Braxton Page had previously told MTV that "What's kind of lost in a lot of the Lindsay discussions is the fact that Lindsay is a very talented actress." He added "She's very charismatic and she has a lot of acting skills. So her lifestyle and some of the things that she's gone through have tended to kind of overwhelm the fact, but Lindsay has kind of real talent. So for this part, we felt that she was really the right actor for a host of different reasons."
The trailer certainly isn't giving too much away with regards supporting that, but there's no denying that Lohan looks the part as she emerges a third of the way through the trailer as a teary Tara, strolling down a street and lying in the sun. The rest of the clip strongly focuses on the sexual aspect of the film, something you'd expect given that it also stars porn star James Deen and includes the message at the beginning "In The Canyons, everything goes. Where the sex is as cheap as the budget and the only way out is death".
