Lindsay Lohan's lawyer has dismissed allegations the troubled actress has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a "total fabrication".
The Mean Girls star was released from jail on Monday (02Aug10) after serving just 13 days of a three-month prison sentence relating to a 2007 DUI arrest.
She headed to a rehab clinic as soon as she was freed, and will spend 90 days at the centre dealing with her personal problems.
Reports emerged over the weekend (31Jul10-01Aug10) suggesting Lohan will be treated for bipolar disorder, a psychological condition which induces mood swings, and also needs help for an addiction to methamphetamine.
But Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley is adamant the rumours are not true, telling TMZ.com, "I have never seen any psych (psychiatric) report concerning Ms. Lohan which references a 'bi-polar' diagnosis or an addiction to 'methamphetamine.' I think this is a total fabrication."
