Playboy magazine bosses have been dealt a blow as they prepare for the January (12) release of Lindsay Lohan's sexy issue - the actress' revealing full pictorial has leaked online.
The Mean Girls star recently stripped off for the $1 million (£625,000) photoshoot, and she had planned to give fans a sneak peek of the Marilyn Monroe-inspired images during an appearance on America's The Ellen DeGeneres Show next Thursday (15Dec11).
However, the highly-anticipated cover shot - featuring the platinum blonde star straddling a red plastic Playboy bunny-shaped chair, which strategically covers her modesty - surfaced on the internet on Wednesday (07Dec11), and now the complete set of nude pictures have been made public too.
In the images, Lohan, wearing just a pair of high heels, is shown posing on all fours on a red couch shaped like a pair of lips, while she is also depicted reclining on a bed with her hands on her breasts. Her numerous tattoos, including some Billy Joel lyrics on her rib cage, appear to have been digitally removed for the spread.
Addressing the unauthorised leak, a Playboy representative tells GossipCop.com, "Someone took photos of Lindsay’s pictorial in an advanced copy of the January/February issue. They posted the photos online without permission."
But Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is brushing off the early reveal, insisting fans should still buy a copy of the magazine for themselves.
In a series of posts on Twitter.com, he writes, "The Lindsay Lohan pictorial has been leaked on the Internet & is causing a sensation. The Lindsay Lohan issue of Playboy is going to be a true Collector's Edition."
