Lindsay Lohan's Christmas will be full of worry - a Los Angeles judge has officially set a probation violation hearing for the New Year (13) to address charges the actress lied to police officers after crashing her Porsche in June (12).
The Mean Girls star was not in court for the arraignment on Wednesday morning (12Dec12), when Commissioner Jane Godfrey revoked her probation for a previous theft charge.
Lohan's longtime attorney Shawn Holley faced Godfrey, who scheduled a hearing, which Lohan will attend, on 15 January (13).
The actress faces over 240 days behind bars if the charges stick.
Holley refused to talk to reporters and photographers outside court other than to wish them, "Happy holidays", but one question did raise a smile when a journalist asked the lawyer, "How does it feel to be in court all the time?" - referring to her client's many run-ins with the law.
