Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is hoping to make a fresh start by leaving Los Angeles and setting up home in New York.
The Mean Girls star moved to Venice Beach, California after she left rehab earlier this year (11), but she plans to spend more time in the Big Apple, where she was born.
Now she's on the hunt for an apartment to rent in Manhattan with her 23-year-old brother Michael, according to her mum Dina.
Dina says, "She will be in New York a lot more going forward. She's actively looking for places in the city with her younger brother Michael.
"She loves it here. And she has a lot of friends who already have places, so she might sublet."
If Lohan does move to the East Coast, she will still have to make trips back to Los Angeles, where she is facing jail time for allegedly violating probation amid accusations she stole a necklace from a California jewellery store.
