Lindsay Lohan has been given tips and advice from acting legend Al Pacino as she kicks off her first theatre run in London's West End.
The Mean Girls star is appearing in a production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow and the play opened for previews on Wednesday night (24Sep14).
Lohan, who was accused of forgetting her lines during the first show, has now revealed she met up with theatre veteran Pacino during his trip to London this week (ends28Sep14) and he offered her some valuable advice on stage craft.
She tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "I was in the Corinthia hotel and he was there. I'm a huge fan and he gave me some really good advice. He told me doing a play is one of the best things I could do as an actor, especially for future roles. He said he was proud of me for doing it. Then randomly, Scarface was on Tv later at home and I watched it. It was really cool."
Speed-the-Plow officially opens at the Playhouse Theatre on 2 October (14).
On Friday (26Sep14), Pacino announced plans to return to the London stage in 2016 for the first time in more than 30 years, in a new production of Oscar Wilde play Salome. He will portray King Herod, a role he took on in a 2003 Broadway run and again in Los Angeles in 2006, before tackling the role once more in a new film adaptation, which premiered in the U.K. capital last weekend (21Sep14).
