Executives At Lil Wayne's Record Label Are Facing A Contempt Of Court Order After Reportedly Failing To Pay A $92,000 (£57,500) Judgment To A Producer For The Rapper's 2011 Song Mirror.
Ramon Owen sued executives at Wayne's Young Money label last year (14) for allegedly failing to pay him for producing the track from his album Tha Carter IV.
In the lawsuit, Owens claimed he was promised a cut of the profits and company bosses had sent him a statement showing he would be paid a minimum of $91,000 (£56,875).
In March (15), Owens was awarded a $91,841 (£57,400) default judgment, but he claims he still has not received his payment.
He also alleges bosses at the label have failed to hand over royalty statements from December, 2012 so that a judge can determine if Owens is owed any additional payments.
He is asking for executives at the label to be found in contempt and ordered to turn over the financial records pertaining to the case, according to TheJasmineBrand.com.
