Lil Wayne's ex-wife, Antonia 'toya' Wright, has been arrested in Georgia for failing to take responsibility for a series of outstanding parking tickets.

Wright was taken into custody on Tuesday (10Dec13) after police discovered the unpaid tickets during a routine traffic stop, according to Rollingout.com.

The 30 year old's manager, Corey Blackwell, confirmed the arrest and claimed it was just a "misunderstanding", and she has since been released.

He says, "(It was) based on something that was paid for but that wasn't cleared out of the system. We're currently going over it with the lawyers."

The How To Love hitmaker and Wright welcomed their daughter, Reginae, in 1997. They married in 2004, but divorced in 2006.

In 2011, she wed Mickey 'Memphitz' Wright.
