LIL' KIM has given birth to a baby girl.

The 39-year-old star welcomed her first child into the world with her musician boyfriend, Mr. Papers, at Hackensack University Medical Centre in New Jersey at 9.58 a.m. this morning (09.06.14).

A spokesperson for the 'Lady Marmalade' hitmaker told UsMagazine.com that she has named her daughter Royal Reign and the tot weighed six pounds, five ounces, and measured 19.5 inches long.

The rapper - real name Kimberly Jones - announced she was pregnant in February and recently asked her fans to buy her baby gifts.

Kim got her assistant to post a message on Twitter listing the stores where she is registered, including Tiffany & Co., Petit Tresor, Bel Bambini, Buy Buy Baby and Babies 'R' Us, with the message: ''Please make sure they check off your gift from the registry after purchase. Thank u guys so much'', with an address of where to send the gifts.

The items include a $500 Tiffany & Co. sterling silver baby beaker and a more budget-friendly Snow White bib and booties set, retailing at $9.99, but some fans criticised her ''tacky'' move.

Kim also allegedly displayed ''diva behaviour'' when she was four hours late to her own baby shower in New York City last month.

A source previously said: Kim was four hours late to her own baby shower! Guests were told to arrive at 4p.m., [and] she got there at 8p.m. Everyone was annoyed, but it was expected of Kim to be so late.''
