Rocker Liam Gallagher's business partner has been arrested over allegations of issuing death threats, according to a U.K. report.
Steve Allen, managing director of Gallagher's fashion firm Pretty Green, is reportedly embroiled in an investigation into letters allegedly sent to two people due to give evidence against him in a civil case.
Sam Berry and his girlfriend Claire Humphries claim sinister packages were sent to their homes in Worcestershire, England.
Allen - who also serves as a bodyguard for Gallagher - has already paid out more than $86,400 (£54,000) to Berry in a dispute over their former business venture, Risks Contained, and Berry has three more civil cases lodged against Allen and his company.
Allen, 41, was arrested at his home near Southampton, in Hampshire, south England in relation to the incident and was subsequently bailed, according to Britain's Sunday Mirror.
A police spokesperson tells the newspaper, "Hampshire Police arrested a man on suspicion of threats to kill and he has been bailed to return to a West Mercia police station."
