Liam Gallagher has hinted at a potential Oasis reunion.

The outspoken singer appeared to suggest he could bury the hatchet with his brother Noel and consider reforming their old band, but only if the ''musical gods'' allow it.

Speaking after Beady Eye's secret performance on the Other Stage at this year's Glastonbury festival in Somerset, South West England, on Friday (28.06.13), Liam told Digital Spy: ''Me and our kid [Noel] still don't speak. Gem [Archer] and the lads still speak.''

Guitarist Andy Bell chimed in, ''It will come down to a conversation'', before Liam added, ''Without being f**king hippy, it'll happen when it'll happen. If the musical gods want it to happen.''

Oasis famously headlined Glastonbury in both 1995 and 2004, before the band parted ways after a backstage punch-up between warring siblings Liam and Noel in August 2009.

Asked whether Glastonbury festival would be the perfect place for a reunion gig, Liam cryptically quipped: ''I guess so. Wherever it'll be, it will be big. But who's to say it should be big? Maybe it'll be small.''

However, the 40-year-old musician would have a lot of convincing to do after Noel previously insisted he wouldn't get back together with the group ''even if all the starving children in the world depended on it''.

After Liam teased their surprise performance on Twitter earlier in the week, thousands of fans turned up to watch Beady Eye kick off the festival yesterday at 11am, where they played tracks from their new album 'BE' including 'Flick of the Finger' and 'I'm Just Saying' as well a few Oasis classics.

Glastonbury has partnered with EE this year and the telecoms company have set up a 4G network on site to keep festivalgoers tweeting, blogging and updating their Facebook pages, as well as providing two free recharge tents.
