Former Oasis Rocker Liam Gallagher Is Joining Forces With The Who's Roger Daltrey To Form A Supergroup For A One-off Tv Performance.
The singer, whose post-Oasis band Beady Eye split last year (14), is teaming with Daltrey, as well as Ringo Star's son Zak Starkey and Lightning Seeds frontman Ian Broudie for a revival of 1990s show TFI Friday.
Drummer Starkey has previous performed with Gallagher in Oasis and with Daltrey's band.
A spokesperson for TFI Friday, which is returning to U.K. TV next week (beg08Jun15), says, "We have invited a number of amazing musicians to form a supergroup for a unique performance during the TFI Friday special, including Roger Daltrey, Liam Gallagher, Zak Starkey and Ian Broudie."
