The second clip sees Belfort meet Donnie Azoff – played by Jonah Hill – for the first time. Azoff confidently approaches him, forcing Belfort to nonchalantly disclose his gargantuan salary. Azoff immediately quits his job and goes to work for Belfort when a pay stub for $72,000 is wielded.
Donnie Azoff is the representation of Danny Porush, who actually spent 39 months in prison after he and Belfort pleaded guilty to 10 counts of securities fraud. Porush is currently a director of the Boca Raton, Florida-based medical supplies company Med-Care Diabetic & Medical Supplies Inc.
