Lea Michele is shooting her first music video.

The 'Glee' actress-and-singer is gearing up to release her first ever solo single and shared a sneak preview of her video shoot with fans on Twitter.

She wrote in the social media site on Sunday (17.11.13): ''SO EXCITED SHOOTING MY VERY FIRST MUSIC VIDEO TODAY FOR THE FIRST ALBUM SINGLE!''

Lea posted four behind-the-scenes shots of the set, which included two dimly-lit pictures of an eerie room featuring white columns and steps, and another two images of the 27-year-old actress staring directly into the camera.

It appears the brunette - who stars as bossy perfectionist Rachel Berry on 'Glee' - was delighted with the results, thanking the crew for making her ''dream come true'' a reality.

She enthused: ''Truly an incredible day... Thank u @melaniemakeup @marktownsend1 @Ashlie_Johnson & @EsteeStanley #dreamcometrue''.

The singer also posted several photos from her recording session with her band the previous day with the caption, ''It's all happening.''

It is thought Lea's first single could be her self-penned track, 'You're Mine', an homage to her late boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith, who passed away this summer from an alcohol and heroin overdose.

She previously explained: ''The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything'. I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't.' It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this.''
