Lea Michele's new boyfriend Matthew Paetz is certainly handsome, muscly and. a former gigolo? The former Glee star's love life has been under scrutiny over the last few months as it's almost a year (a month today to be precise) since her boyfriend Cory Monteith tragically died. Although Michele has been keeping her relationship with Paetz quiet, rumours have already begun to circulate which suggest her new beau may have a shady past.

Michele and Paetz are officially a couple, according to People. They met in April on the set of Michele's music video for 'On My Way' in which he appears as an extra, although interestingly does not have the part of Michele's on camera love interest.

Yet Michele may be moving on but, understandably as less than a year has passed, does think back to her relationship with Monteith. A source, speaking to People, claims "For a long time, Lea wasn't close to even thinking about getting into a relationship. Cory's death was and will continue to be a struggle for her."

Fortunately, Michele has seemingly met someone who is helping her move on romantically at least. Paetz is an aspiring model, actor and lifestyle coach according to his Twitter page. However, as it is fairly difficult to make a splash in Los Angeles, a city filled with aspiring actors, models and writers, it appears Paetz may have been paying the bills in a less than conventional way. TMZ have obtained information and images which suggest Paetz has been moonlighting as a hired male escort.

A screen shot of the escort website Cowboys4Angels shows a picture of a man who does look remarkably like Paetz. 'Christian', as the gigolo in question is named, is a qualified "life coach, dating expert and massage therapist." Hopefully, if Michele is indeed dating the same man, we hope she's not having to pay the price. An hour with Christian will cost you $350 whilst a weekend is $6000 and a week $17 500.
