Lamar Odom has been spending a lot of time with Bruce Jenner, with his estranged stepfather-in-law giving him advice on how to get his life back on track.
Lamar Odom is being advised by Bruce Jenner.
The basketball star - whose marriage to Khloe Kardashian has been rocked by allegations he has cheated on her and is addicted to crack cocaine - has been spending a lot of time with his estranged wife's stepfather in Malibu, and the former Olympian has been counseling Lamar on ''various life issues'', including how to stay clean and who in his social circle to avoid.
And according to gossip website TMZ, Bruce - who recently split from Khloe's mother Kris Jenner after 22 years of marriage - has been telling friends that Lamar is now clean and sober and has been working out with a view to relaunching his NBA career.
Bruce has reportedly told pals that Lamar is a ''good soul'' and is pleased to be a positive influence on him.
He told one friend: ''Everybody's got s**t in their life and they need to learn how to deal with it. Lamar didn't deal with his very well.''
And even if Khloe and Lamar split for good, Bruce has vowed to stay close to the sportsman because he loves him and ''genuinely cares''.
