Lady GaGa has pretty much achieved all she needs to in the music world, and whilst there's no hint that she's going to give up that dominance any time soon, the theatrics that have always gone hand in hand with her career have often hinted that she could more than easily jump into the world of acting. Well, it's happening. E! Online reports that the 26 year-old has been confirmed for her first leading actress role in the forthcoming film 'MAChete Kills' on Twitter, whilst an early poster for the film has also been revealed, showing Gaga in a typically extravagant outfit.
The news was first broken by 'MAChete Kills' director Robert Rodriguez who wrote "I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MACheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!" Eager fans then bombarded Gaga's own Twitter profile and she followed quickly with her own confirmation, writing "Yes This is real" and adding later "Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @ RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane."
Scheduled to be released in 2013, 'MAChete Kills' will see Gaga play the character La Chameleon and if the poster is anything to go by then she'll be playing an extremely racy character indeed. Giving her best Marilyn Monroe pose, the singer looks divine in thigh-length stockings whilst - in a typically bold statement - a dead wolf hangs around her body.
