Lady GaGa Will Sing Live From Space In 2015 Lady Gaga will be heading into outer space in 2015. The 27 year-old singer will be boarding Richard Branson's 'Virgin Galactic' ship to play just one song.

Us Weekly reports, she will perform her track during the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in New Mexico. A source also told the mag, "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere."

Adding, "Gaga has taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy!"

The festival, which will feature an array of the world best entertainers and the most sophisticated technological gadets, will take place of a three day period at Saceport America.

The 'Born This Way' singer is scheduled to perform on the last day of the event, which will be around six months after the first 'Virgin Galactic' flight launches.

The source also guarantees it will be "like nothing the world has seen before."

Gaga joins a long list of fellow pop-stars who have expressed interest in taking a commercial flight to outer space.Pop-stars Justin Bieber and Katy Perry have signed up to be passengers on a 'Virgin Galactic' flight and Bob Geldof has purchased a ticket from the privately owned company, 'Space Expedition Corporation', for a flight that will be launched in 2014.

The song Gaga performs will be making history so it will probably be a wise idea not to repeat her train wreck of a performance at the first ever YouTube Music Awards this past Sunday (Nov 3rd). Gaga wore no make-up, a trucker's hat and a flannel shirt, she sing a controversially titled ballad called 'Dope' and cried hysterically throughout the whole performance.

Gaga will be the first ever pop-star to sing live in space but Canadian astronaut, Chris Hadfield, may argue that he was the first ever human to serenade the stars. Mr Hadfield filmed himself performing cover of David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' on board the International Space Station.
