Lady GaGa : Artpop , sound good? The star confirmed the title of her new album on her Twitter this week to solidify anticipation since June when Gaga told her fans that she would be revealing all about the new album in September. This is a little earlier, though we can expect more news in the forthcoming days and weeks, with current new live track 'Princess Die' expected to feature on the track list.
Reuters reports that Gaga posted a photo of her wrist, with the album title tattooed onto it, adding the caption "new ink new album". She followed that up on Sunday with the Twitter update "my new album/project Artpop".
With Gaga apparently getting on with business, it's been left to Elton John to step into her place to defend her against the constant attacks of bitter ageing pop queen Madonna. In a furious rant on Australian TV, Elton vented, "Why is she such a nightmare?" adding "Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger c***." He wasn't done there either, continuing "If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to go and prove... she looks like a f****** fairground stripper. She's been horrible to Gaga." Go Elt!
