Lady GaGa has opened up about therapy, and admitted she sought help so she could cope with her meteoric rise to fame.
Lady GaGa used therapy to cope with her rise to fame.
The 'Applause' hitmaker has become one of the biggest stars in the world since the release of her debut single 'Just Dance' in 2008, and she isn't ''ashamed'' that she sought advice to help her adjust to life in the spotlight.
She told Attitude magazine: ''I've tried therapy. I mean, I have and I'm not ashamed to talk about it.''
The singer explained she hopes her openness about therapy means her fans won't find it difficult to deal with their own issues.
She added: ''I want my fans and I want everyone to talk about that stuff.
''Because once you get it out there we can all just support each other and stop acting like we should be embarrassed.''
Gaga - who is dating Taylor Kinney - has also recently discussed the possibility of starting her own family.
She previously said: ''I want to have tons of kids, actually. I think at least three. I really want to have a family and I really want to nurture my children.
''To be honest, having my own kids will be like having three little monsters with me all the time. They probably won't be fans.''
