Lady GaGa has promised to make contact with the mother of a 16-year-old fan who passed away in December (10) after the woman posted an online plea for the singer's help.
Before his tragic death, James Bassett asked his mother to make his final wish come true by giving Gaga a scrapbook he had created in her honour.
In a bid to grasp Gaga's attention, the teenager's family put together a video showing images of the book and asking fellow Gaga fans to help reach the superstar.
Amongst photos of the devotee, a message in the video reads, "All little monsters please watch. December 2010 we lost a part of our Monster Family James Bassett passed away aged only 16. James made a last request that his Mother Monster would get a special gift he had created for her over the years. All I ask is that if anyone watching this... can help me make his wish come true then they do... This is a genuine plea from a genuine family who have lost there (sic) beloved monster and are losing hope of Gaga ever getting this gift... Mother Monster if you are seeing this please find a way for James' mum to give you this book to you."
It now seems Bassett's wish is set to come true - as Gaga has announced plans to get in touch his mum.
In a post on Twitter.com she writes, "Just saw this video relating to the loss of a beautiful fan, James Monster... Will email his mom. Were (sic) all here for you."
