Fans of 'American Horror Story' can make sure they have the best Halloween ever with a vist to Universal Studios for their brand new terrifying attraction. The exhibit - entitled Halloween Horror Nights - will be opening next month with inspiration taken from three seasons of the FX show.

Taking the horrors of 'Murder House' (season one), 'Freak Show' (season four) and 'Hotel' (season five), Halloween Horror Nights will be available to experience at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort from September 16th; two days after episode one of the untitled sixth season of 'American Horror Story' airs on FX.

The theme park attraction will be in the form of a maze where thrill-seekers can get lost in a world of carnival horror, evil spirits and vampiric seduction all based on your favourite moments throughout the series.

'American Horror Story is one of the most disturbing television shows ever produced, and with such perverse storylines unfolding with each installment, 'Halloween Horror Nights' is undoubtedly the only place that could create a living version of the nightmares that Ryan Murphy dreams up', said John Murdy, Universal Studios' creative director, in a statement. 'Plus, as a fan favorite, American Horror Story has been the No. 1 requested maze from our guests and we're excited to let them know that we listened to them and are bringing American Horror Story to life.'

Meanwhile, fans can look forward to a brand new season of the spine-chilling show, though little has been revealed about it so far. Creator Ryan Murphy is keeping the new story well under wraps - so much so that we don't even have a title for the upcoming season yet. He has revealed, however, that this new tale is set mostly in the present and that we can expect 'children and operatic' themes.

Season 6 of 'American Horror Story' is set to premiere on FX on September 14th 2016.
