Kylie Jenner won't let her make-up artist near her famous pout.

The 18-year-old star decided to hire Ariel Tejada, 20, after seeing his work on Instagram and immediately direct messaged him to work with her when he was ''next in town'' and he has revealed although it was a ''team effort'' the flawless brunette insisted she had to ''line her own lips''.

Ariel said: ''Kylie DM'd me herself on Instagram and told me, 'Next time you're in town, let's work together.'

''It's a team effort. I essentially do everything else, but she likes to line her own lips.''

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star was ''obsessed'' when she saw pictures of the young artists' looks on the photo sharing app and asked if she could ''keep'' him for herself.

He told BuzzFeed: ''She was obsessed with the make-up. She said, 'Can I keep you?' And I was like, 'Of course!' ''

Ariel then agreed to travel from New York to Los Angeles in a week, but told Kylie a lie, saying he had already booked a flight.

He said: ''I told her, 'I'll be there in a week, let's do it.' I didn't even have a flight booked or anything.''

While he wasn't allowed to attend to her lips, Ariel gushed about Kylie's ''mesmerizing eyes''.

He added: ''Kylie has beautiful eyes - they're very mesmerizing.''
